Design 101

for Flower Shows

It is getting time for our two October Flower Shows, soon the Flower Show Schedule will arrive at your home in a future Camellia. For some of us that Flower Show Schedule seems to be written in a secret code. That brings us to Design 101 for Flower Shows, Katherine Stumbaugh, and a Master Flower Show Judge, will lead us through how to read and interpret a Flower Show Schedule and then take us through the process of picking the design elements and executing the design. Katherine will have a design example to help us follow the process.

Please join us for Design 101 for Flower Shows to be held Wednesday September 10, 2008 from 10 am to Noon at The Garden Center. There will be no charge for this informative class, all you need to bring is a desire to learn and a pencil and paper. We will need to know how many will attend so please register with Sunny Smith at 850-932-2373 or sunnysmith@bellsouth.net

	May 25, 2009 11:00am-4:00pm	Memorial Day Flower and Rose Show Pensacola Garden Center Free to the Public MEMORIAL DAY ROSE AND FLOWER SHOW 11am – 4:00pm This patriotic themed flower show is sponsored by the Pensacola Federation of Garden clubs and Pensacola Rose Society. Come see the most outstanding varieties of roses grown in the south exhibited by novice and master rose growers. Consulting rosarians will be on hand to answer your gardening questions. Exhibitor entries are being accepted 7:00am-9:00am. The free show opens to the public at 11:00am. Vendors will be selling popular rose bushes. Lunches are available.
